WWWMWMW .Q -li ' , Members of the Burris French Club, special guests at the French Club's Christmas banquet, were surprised to see Central's own Santa Claus. He made his appearance along with Ro- chelle Lapin, Sharon O'Meara, Norma Rude, Rita Hunt, and Wanda Swift in a play which was presented for the enioyment of the guests. This banquet, held annually, is an event which high- lights the club's year. By the way, Santa turned out to be Mary Belle Wade. W -if J xi T- David Young appears to be rather puzzled at the idea of finding the area of a triangle, while Jane Harper tries to explain to a member of the solid geometry class how she is going to find the area of the figure which she has drawn. Jim Shaw is gladly l iw 'tix 'lm 514: 't x, 5, listening to Fred Boyd explain how he intends to find the length of the line AB. Solid geometry is a course which is especially useful to boys who plan to take engineering in college or to students who plan to maior in mathematics.
