Utilizing a combination of hard work, talent, and experience, the senior class showed their leadership in all apsects of school life at Mulvane High. In keeping with tradition, senior portraits were taken in color by Marquis Studios for inclusion in the year- book. Shortly afterward, 24 seniors were chosen for membership in National Honor Society, in recognition of their scholastic accomplishments. In addition, MHS seniors contributed greatly to the success of all school sponsored activities in 1984, from athletics to yearbook, from band to pep club, and much more. For the first time a powder-puff football game was played in which the senior girls clawed and scratched their way to a 6-0 victory over the junior girls. As a fundraising project in December, seniors bought and sold T-shirts with the names of each meinber of the Class of ' 84 printed on them. Shortly after this, several seniors traveled to Winter Park and Silver Creek, Colo- rado, to hit the slopes as part of a class ski trip. The spring semester was highlighted by senior skip day, followed by graduation on May 22, 1984. Upon graduation, the seniors from the Class of ' 84 had many accomplishiTients to reflect on and point to with pride and stand ready to face the future witn confidence, full in the assurance that their years at MHS were well- spent. 2g Senior Class Representatives are from left: Kyle Couch and Tommy Luckner.
