JERRY NELSON Vice Principal FRED S TAKER Principal Dear Students and Faculty Members: This bicentennial year is an important one in the life of our school and the history of OUT nation. Two hundred years ago a group of inspired people dedicated themselves to an ideal. Through the cooperative efforts of many, that ideal was achieved. The Spirit of ' 76 has enabled students and faculty at Mulvane High School to cooperate and achieve success both in academics and activities. It is our hope and desire that each student will dedicate himself to the ideal of utilizing fully his talents and abilities. The achievement of this ideal will surely enable one to live a successful life. Congratulations to each of you for your achievements and best wishes for the future. Respectfully, Fred Stakex, Principal BETTE CRANSTON Registrar SUE BAUMGARTNER Bookkeeper M

Edwin Jay Sears On May 27th, 1975, Mulvane was greatly saddened by the death of Jay Sears in a truck accident in Texas. Jay loved motors and kept busy working on auto engines and shop projects, but he was never too busy to be thoughtful of other people and sensitive to their fellings. He was an active and faithful member of the Mulvane United Methodist Church. Jay, we will remember you, your friendliness, your generosity, and your red truck.
