Gibson Gives Capable Supervision To School Charles A. Gibson, Superintendent of Schools Charles A. Gibson has beenSuperintendent of Unified School District 263 for two years. He and his family moved here from Burlington where he was Superintendent of Schools for seven years. The Gibsons have three children, Steve, Trudy and Kathy. In addition to being an excellent adminis- trator, Superintendent Gibson is known for his ready smile and interest in sports, and he works actively with the community as well as the school to better its educational program. Mr. Gibson was graduated from Wichita State University with an A.B. degree. He also holds an M. A. from Colorado State College of Education. He is now working toward a special- ist ' s degree from Kansas State Teachers Col- lege. Betty Boren, Bookkeeper Coach??? Gibson Mr. J. B. Jean Shaw, Secretary Able MHS Principal Directs School Wisely Lyle C. Couch, the principal of Mulvane High School for the past six years, has capably assumed the ever- increasing responsibili- ties of MHS with humor and dedication. Bringing needed changes into an educational system while at the same time continuing stabil- ity is not easy. The successful 1968- -1969 school year was the first year for a three year high school. Mr. Couch obtained his educational degrees from Northwestern at Alva, Oklahoma, and Wichita State University. He and Mrs. Couch reside at 628 North First Street with their children Rhonda, Chervl and Kvle. Lyle C. Couch, Principal Joan McKinney, Secretary The principal confers with the class presidents.
