The Anniial King and Queen Valentine dance was one long to be remembered. It was held Saturday night Feb. 12 in the auditorium. Each class elected candidates and one penny a vote was charged. Each class had projects to raise money for their candidates. Kenny Lowrance and Bessie Goodin, seniors, were the King and Queen. The auditorium was decorated very attractively. The Student Council spent much of their time and efforts in preparing the decorations and making plans for the dance. Proceeds from the projects were used to finance this year ' s annual. ATTENDANTS AND THEIR ESCORTS WERE: Caxole Hess and Danell Davis, sophomore; Arlene Lewis and Dick Peckham, fteshmen; Kay Daniels and Jim Prins, junior; and the King and Queen, Bessie Goodin and Kenny Lowrance, seniors. .-n Congratulations grad iating class of ' 55. The remain- ing part of the Journalism class helped get the annual ready by doing different jobs assigned to them by the staff. The annual staff worked very hard in collecting and taking pictures and selling advertisements to make this an annual to be proud of. At times the students wondered if they would meet all deadlines, but everyone worked hard to complete the pages on time . We hope the student body enjoys this annual as much as we have en- joyed producing it.
