One of the many memorable things we did was decorating the Christmas tree in the hall. Still another was the Mother, Daughter Tea with the style show and the installation of the new officers. The State Meeting at Topeka gave sev- eral of our members real inspiration for our work, and some of the girls were awarded their State Homemaker Degree. . . J4i.y Compliments of MULLINS RADIO AND TV Hi-Y members renting seats at the home bas- ketball games. . . . Oh, wasn ' t that Christmas Formal Dance dreamy? The Hi-Y helped the Kayettes sponsor the dance. Hi-Y had many projects this year. The boys traveled to Plainview to help select congressmen for Boys State. They also purchased materials for ping-pong tables which were then built for noon hour recreation. Another project of Hi-Y that gave many basketball spectators more comfort at the games, were the canvas seats which the boys rented to them. . .
