During the warm fall afternoons the Wildcat squad found little time for outside activities. When school mates climbed into school buses headed for home and relaxation, the football boys had just begun the hardest part of their day. Kicking, blocking, passing, running, tackling, and inter-team scrimmage prepared them for coming games. After their workout most squad members were willing to climb into bed at ten o ' clock to comply with training regulations . Although the A squad failed to land in the winner ' s column, each player had a Winner ' s spirit. Backed up by a loyal Muivane pep section and by town boosters, Muivane made each game exciting and never forgot the sportsmanship of a good athletic group. the Panthf rs, went over iown .
