Kayettes Set up under the committee system, the Kayettes offered well planned and varied activities. With 67 girls divided into six groups, the club stressed individual projects for each division. During the year they did such proje cts as planting flowers, adding books to the library, sending CARE packages, helping in hospitals, and caroling. Officers were Twyla Humbolt, president; Nancy Hoefer, vice president; Betty Reed, secretary; Barbara Shoup, treasurer; and Delores Reusser, director of points . F. H. A. The FHA is a vocational club striving to become better homemakers. There are three degrees, the Junior, the Chapter, and State Homemakers Degree. Some of the girls are working towards Junior Home- makers Degree and there are two who have Chapter degrees. The members observed National F. H. A. Week, November fourth to the tenth, sending basket of fruits to Villa Maria as a Com- munity project. The club sold booklets to help with the building of a new Home Economics building in Washington D. C, A candy sale was one of the money making projects. THE LEADERS The leaders were; President, Lois Bachman; Vice President, Delores Reusser; Secretary, Johnny Logan; Treasurer, Helen Frost; Historian, Judy Higgs; Degree Chairman, Blanche Nett; Song leader, Sylvia Wells; Pianist, Sandra Summers, Publicity Chairman, LaVonna Pitts; and Miss Hazel Molzen, Advisor.
