Not pictured, Kim Smith. THE FUTURE FAVORS THE BOLD! Twelve years ago these twelve students met in their first grade room to starttheir school life. The first three years of grade school were full of fun, and in that grade they moved to the new grade school. During the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades they became more sophisticated and started socializing. When they left for junior high school, forty-eight students were in the class. Junior High was quite differentg the rotating system of classes and different teachers for each class weren 't too easy to adjust to. Those two years were full of parties and record dances. The end of junior high brought the picnic at Finney 's Resort, which no one will forget! As freshmen, we got the taste of high school life with all the activities it offered. All joined different organizations and were busy with money-making projects. The sophomore year brought more work and more fun. Our sophomore-freshman party we recall well! Ordering our class rings really set off our sophomore year. Selling concession refreshments, sponsoring more dances, more work Qand funj, and build- ing our wonderful prom, In the Misty Moonlight, highlighted our junior year. Oh, yes, and the new athletic pavilion was started. As seniors, we felt quite grown up. Among our memor- ies is going to the state basketball tournament in Lewiston, playing basketball in the new pavil- ion, swimming in the new pool, and, of course, graduation and baccalaureate. It 's said that parting is such sweet sorrow. Well, maybe sog but with the happy times, fond memories, and lasting friendships to aid our sweet sorrow, the future is for the bold - the ones of 1968!
