The Future Nurses of America began in Mullan High just this year under the guidance of the school nurse, Mrs. Rita Manor. Its main activity was a trip to Spokane, touring the Blood Bank, Deaconess Hospital and School of Nursing, and Shriners' Children 's Hospital. FUTURE TEACHERS GAIN EXPERIENCE During the 1967-1968 school year the Mullan Chapter of Future Teachers gained knowledge and skill through their teaching experiences. Various members of the club substituted for grade school teachers throughout the year. Activities the club enjoyed were the annual teachers' reception in the fall, the mid-winter conference in Moscow, a swimming party, and installation of new officers in the spring.
