For a night on the town we go to the rink for a little ice skating with Mel at the yearbook party. Finally, we go back to the hustle and bustle of fourth hour to take a peek at Tammi, who is trying to meet a yearbook deadline. 17

ALL ABO RD FOR ELLA. RALLIES 'YW fvfhkf 'V Mrs. Kathy Sutterfield and the F.H.A. girls were packed and ready to go to the state rally the first weekend in April, l979. Marty Henke, our faithful companion and bus driver, drove us there. All the girls, including Kenda, Deanna, Desiree, and Tena enjoyed swimming while they stayed at the Hilton lnn. STEPPING UP THE A CE IN THE SPRING Each year, more and more oil wells are being drilled in our community since the increase in oil prices. This one is just east of the high school. We discovered that with the energy crisis we really can't do anything that is not expensive, but our school manages to find something to do. ln fact, every date on the calendar in the months of April and May, l979, was scheduled. Here's a few examples of those events which kept us on the go. Looks like Derek Mason and Andy Bowden really had a good time on their class party at Ken's in Stillwater. At the FHA Grandmothers' Tea the girls met a lot of friendly grandmothers. As you can see, Leslie Hunnicutt brought her special friend, Lulu Pritchett. Elizabeth Kissner was a guest . . A :N V xi- 9 Believe me, we do have some clowns like Desiree Bowden and Kevin Hafner. The M-O Get-Quik bought them at the FFA slave auction, and they slaved in costume at the grand opening. of Sue Brooker. A tradition of the M-O communities which really lets the seniors know how special they are is the reception line on graduation night. Kim Uhrig, Roy Butler, and Dennis Prince were really nervous about leaving. Luke Lough is decorating for the prom.
