MuLEsHoE, TsxAs Dear Friends: Huleshoe High School is just now entering its greatest period of development. For years it has been driving its roots deep into the life soil of this section of the great western plains. Its growth has been one of penetration and expansion. The enrollment figures for the year 1948-49 have surpassed all expectations. Within the memory of its alumni Muleshoe High has grown from an annual enrollment of approximately 1OO to an institution of 550 and better. It has been most difficult to keep pace with the growth of the student population, in physical plant, and instructional staff. The present condition present a might challenge to all of us who are responsible for the development of Muleshoe High School. At the present time new buildings are under construction. Equipment must be added and the faculty must be strengthened. I sincerely urge all students of Muleshoe High School to join with us in making of this institution one of the strongest high schools in this section of the country. Best Wishes,
