We are expecting a greater number of you to continue your education beyond high school and to assume the responsibilities of leadership in the professions, business, and government. We shall miss you in all organizations, classes, and activities but wish you continued success and happiness. Sincerely, Kenneth Horn Superintendent SUPERINTENDENT KENNETH HORN It is my pleasure to congratulate the 1959 graduating class of Mukwonago Union High School. Your class has been one of the finest. Your leadership in academic as well os extra-curricular work should serve as an inspiration to the students who follow you here. Always remember this was just the practice session. The real game is just starting. The time is here to put the above practices to a test. Best wishes and good luck. On the eve of the Homecoming the mighty glare of the bonfires gave a spirit of en- thusiasm to all. An exciting pep rally brought the evening to a hopeful end. The downbeat of Cindy's baton started the traditional parade on Friday afternoon. The Senior Homeroom Cl4 won first place with their float Here Lies Elkhorn. Marvin Cunningham kicked off at the game with Elkhorn which ended in a 0-0 tie. The memorable weekend came to a glorious climax at the dance Saturday night as King Marvin crowned her royal highness, Sue. 41 1958 JumIo P%tow Steve Marsh, Julie Daggett, Conrad Henry, Cynth.a Kirschke, Ronn.e Kainz, Sue Paget, Marvin Cunningham, Carol Kinowski, Queen, John Davis, King, Sue Winn, Paul Dickson, Darlene Benedict, Robert Wolf, Lorraine Hardino, H. Cherry blossoms, gilted masks, bright dragons, and a golden Buddha were the highlights of the colorful decorations. The charm and dignity of the royalty and their court in the lovely oriental atmos- phere made this evening one of the most eventful occasions of our Junior year. 43 II SPORT S Footf oi£ Ba ketbcM Baseball ChmfoaJm TtCuck l lhi Squad Ttaiupofoie Club Coach Dahle Jerry Harrington Gary Pellman Bauer Mayville Lake Forest Wilmot Burlington Whitewater Elkhorn Delavan Lake Geneva East Troy Tom Unold Jim Knurr Bob Dawson Marvin Cunningham Warren Belti Ronnie Kainz Pat Porter Rowl: K.
