Those in charge of this year's issues were Editor-in-Chief, Carole Zache and Assistant Editor, Eois Ellarson. Other staff members in- cluded June Hardina, News Editor; Yvonne Kramer, Feature Editor; Ronald Reinke, Sports Editor; Judy Carlson, Business Manager. In addition, our able adviser, Miss Ott, and her entire English class contributed articles, and helped in other ways in the production of the paper. 29

KING QUEEN William Nowatske Lois Ellarson Homecoming The Homecoming festivities be - gan with the parade at 2 p.m. on Oct- ober 15, 1954. That evening the In- dians met Wilmot in a tough game, that resulted in Mukwonago's first loss. Following the game a dance was held in the gymnasium, which was u- niquely decorated as a football field. After Queen, Lois Ellarson, was crowned by her King, Bill Nowatske, the dancing began under the direction of Cullen Casey and his Orchestra. 28

The Indians shared the title with Wilmot. Both teams lost one game. Much of the team's success is due to the excellent coaching job of Mr. Danielson and Mr. Bray and the very able leadership of Captain William Nowatske.
