Junior Prom Midnight in Manhatten was the theme for the Junior Prom, which took place on April 24, 1954. The gym, decorated with pastel stream- ers, was set off by murals depicting scenes of New York City. King, Fred Babeck, and Queen, Janice Green- wood, came through an entrance re- sembling that of the famous Stork Club. After the crowning, they pro - ceeded to lead the Grand March.
