NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY On May 21, 1952, sixteen new members were initiated into the National Honor Society at a candlelight ceremony. Their parents were entertained by the old members at a tea following the ceremony. To become a member of the society one must maintain a scholastic average of 90, must show ability in leadership, must possess a good char- acter and must serve the school. The society elected the following officers: President, Kay Martin; Vice- President, Dennis Barber; and Secretary, Eileen White. The club adviser and treasurer is Miss Piper. STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council is made up of three representatives from each class. They are elected at the beginning of the school year by each class. Mr. Horn is the adviser. The officers for this year are: Joan Davis, President; Hank Klein, Vice- President; and Eileen White, Secretary-Treasurer.
