The 82 students in band and the 110 in the Junior Chorus again par- ticipated in various events throughout the school term. The band students took part in the Annual Music Festival and the Solo Tournament, both held at Whitewater. Twelve students participated in a mass band concert at Burlington on January twenty-ninth, and twelve choir members took part in the choral concert at Burlington on February twenty-sixth. Student Council The Student Council consisted of three representatives from each class. They were elected at the beginning of the school year by the individual classes. Mr. Horn served as adviser. The officers for this year were Earl Wiehl, President; Neil Barber, Vice- President; and Carol Stoltz, Secretary-Treasurer. The council met at intervals throughout the year to discuss such things as ideas for homecoming and plans for noon hour activities.
