Student Council The Student Council consisted of three representatives from each class. They were elected at the beginning of the school year by the individual classes. Mr. Horn served as adviser. The officers for this year were Earl Wiehl, President; Neil Barber, Vice- President; and Carol Stoltz, Secretary-Treasurer. The council met at intervals throughout the year to discuss such things as ideas for homecoming and plans for noon hour activities. Gloyd, C. Stoltz, Miss Piper. National Honor Society On May 17, 1950, ten new members were initiated by the National Honor Society at a candle light ceremony. Later the old members entertained their parents at a formal tea. Each member of this National Honor Society must maintain a scholastic average of 90, must show ability in leadership, must possess good character traits, and must be loyal in his service to the school. Jerry Swan was elected president; Joyce Gloyd, vice-president; and Kay Carroll, secretary. Miss Piper was the adviser.

Koncikowski, M. Fleming. Mukwonago’s Band and Chorus With Mr. Hotz as director, our music de- partment showed much progress during the course of the year. The 82 students in band and the 110 in the Junior Chorus again par- ticipated in various events throughout the school term. The band students took part in the Annual Music Festival and the Solo Tournament, both held at Whitewater. Twelve students participated in a mass band concert at Burlington on January twenty-ninth, and twelve choir members took part in the choral concert at Burlington on February twenty-sixth.
