Football We opened our 1949 football season by playing Wilmot. It was a tough game and Mukwonago came out on the wrong side of a 20-6 score. Our second game, a non-conference game, brought us our first scalp with a 6-0 victory over St. Mary's of Burlington. In our third game we scored another victory with a tally of 24-6. We went on to chalk up another win against the Aggies, 27-12. Our homecoming game was a real heart- breaker since Mukwonago lost to East Troy 12-0. Naturally one good turn deserves another, so, we upset Waterford's home- coming 12-0. Our last game was a 27-0 victory over Walworth, and so we placed third for the season. Earl Wiehl was our Captain this year. Earl Wiehl
