In addition the band took part in Memorial Day and Fourth of July parades, presented fall and spring concerts in our gymnasium, and an assembly program in West Milwaukee, par- ticipated in the Waukesha Dairy Show and broadcasted over WAUX. Two of Mukwonago band members, Annette Kaiser and Mondy Moore were chosen to participate in an All State band Concert held at Madison on January 7. With Mr. Hotz as director, the 72 students in the band and the 145 students in the chorus again participated in various events during the course of the year. On March 25 band members entered 90 events of the solo tournament at Whitewater and on May 13 entered as a class A group at the district tournament. Ten band students and twenty choir students entered in a massed band concert and massed choir concert on January 30 and February 27 respectively. These events took place at Lake Geneva.
