The Arrow Staff The 1950 Arrow, with Miss Arpke as adviser, was published by a staff of fourteen seniors and two juniors. Editor-in-Chief, Barbara Sniderwin was aided by Assistant Editor, Elizabeth Elton. The business affairs were handled by Mondy Moore and Carol Stoltz. Sports were edited by Howard Porter, and activities by Alice Ann Schroeder. The staff was ably assisted by the following seniors: Glenn Abel, Vernon Anderson, Annette Kaiser, Joyce Lehmann, Phyllis Martin, Lois Orth, Bill Parker, Doris Sawyer, and Ruth Tuttle. As a final touch, Art Editor Mary Ann Hanson contributed her artistic pictures and Carl Verburgt designed the cover.

After the ceremony the old members entertained the new members and their parents at a formal tea. Bouquets of bright spring flowers added a touch of color to the tables. In addition to maintaining a scholastic average of 90, all members must be leaders; they must possess good character traits and must be loyal in their service to the school. Alice Ann Schroeder was elected President; Mondy Moore. Vice-President; Donna Davis, Secretary. Miss Piper was the adviser.
