Wartik, S. De Back. Under the direction of Mr. Holtz, our music department showed much progress during forty-seven and forty-eight. Our High School Band entered class A at the District Tournament on May eighth. This is the first time we have been in this classification. Eight students participated in a massed band concert at Burlington on February ninth, and sixteen singers joined in the Choral Concert there on March first. During this past year all of the organizations increased in size. There were sixty-eight participants in the Band and one hundred and twenty students in the A Cappella Choir. BACK ROW—M. Mohr, J.
