After three years of hardships suffered by the Redmen, several managed to reach the goal which permitted them to become members of the Muk- wonago Chapter of the National Honor Society. At a candle light service held last May, all Indian warriors saw Robert Schroeder, Alice Brandemuehl, Joyce Fraser, Donald Hinz, Ruth Czarnecki, Hugh Porter, Donna Theis, Sue Ketcham, Diane Smith, and Warren Greenwald welcome four new members into our Chapter. The new members were: Jeanalmor Moore, Lois von Dahlen, Kathleen Smart and Mary Anderson. The parents and teachers were entertained by the old members at a tea. All members belonging to the Society must not only achieve a 90 scholastic average, but must show ability in leadership, outstanding char- acter, and should give their faithful service to the school. New members are selected by the teachers, who base their selections upon the student's abilities. Bob Schroeder was elected Chief Archer; Lois von Dahlen, Vice-President; and Ruth Czarnecki, Secretary. The club is completed by Miss Janecek who serves as guide. STANDING—J. Fraser. J. Moore. A. Glu l UleAme i Student government in our school is controlled by a governmental body that is known as the student council. The members of this council are elected by the student body at the beginning of the school year. Repre- sentatives chosen from the Seniors were: La Rue Jacobi, June Jensen and Ted Robinson; Cara Nome Haag, Romaine Mules, and Lucille Evanger were Junior delegates; Patty Ward, Barbara Sniderwin, and Rose Mary Sullivan came from the Sophomore tribe; while Skippy Rintelman, George Spleas, and Julianne Behmdt were Freshman members. Mr. Horn was Chief Councilor; Romaine Mules, President; Ted Robinson, Vice-President; and La Rue Jacobi, Secretary-T reasurer. These Tribesmen met at various intervals during the year for the purpose of planning and organizing volley ball, movies, dancing, ping-pong, and other noon hour activities. Another important issue was the sponsoring of our Annual Christmas Party, which was held on December 19. 24

Treichel, J. Schuyler. OndUan Jlo-ue Gall This Girls' Club, with its 61 members, participated in many activities this past year. In October, girls passed their initiation trials and joined the club. Those initiated wore long underwear with a huge horse blanket pin and hip or stadium boots. In the afternoon, an essembly program was held as part of the initiation. Some of the more fortunate girls were compelled to do acts for the amusement of the student body. June Jensen was the President of the club. Other officers were: Jane Schuyler, Vice- President, with Arlene Edwards and Donna Davis serving respectively as Secretary and Treasurer. Under the supervision of Miss Moen, the L.T.L. girls assisted with the Homecoming Dance and sponsored a formal which was called the Winter Whirl. During intermission a floor show was staged.
