a4eculiine cMu+iteAA, Miss Pelikan supervised the Pow Wow Staff in its work of pub- lishing the school paper. Don Hinz and Lois von Dahlen, co-editors, assigned and selected the articles to be entered. Several feature items penned by the feature writers, Dorothy Schmitt, Darwin Greenwald and Lois Berg, proved to be very interesting. The news writers, Joyce Fraser, Joyce Hardaker and Jean Moore, summarized the school activities. The sports were aptly written by Douglas Shannon, and Diana Anich added artistic touches to the paper. After all articles were checked and approved, Marcia Stoecker and Lorraine Schlender typed them. BACK ROW—D. Shannon, R. Schroeder, K. Neumann. D. Greenwald, E. Gloyd. SECOND ROW—J. Fraser. M. Repre- sentatives chosen from the Seniors were: La Rue Jacobi, June Jensen and Ted Robinson; Cara Nome Haag, Romaine Mules, and Lucille Evanger were Junior delegates; Patty Ward, Barbara Sniderwin, and Rose Mary Sullivan came from the Sophomore tribe; while Skippy Rintelman, George Spleas, and Julianne Behmdt were Freshman members. Mr. Horn was Chief Councilor; Romaine Mules, President; Ted Robinson, Vice-President; and La Rue Jacobi, Secretary-T reasurer. These Tribesmen met at various intervals during the year for the purpose of planning and organizing volley ball, movies, dancing, ping-pong, and other noon hour activities. Another important issue was the sponsoring of our Annual Christmas Party, which was held on December 19. 24
