JQUNIQIQCSGHOQL ,COMPUTER CLUB NEWS presently fifty interested parents, guardians, and charter enrolled since the Computer Club was launched on 15 May 1934. Q 'recorded for subscriptions to the club are applied towards ,purchase of computer hardware and software. The following are part of school history. club operates in two.modes, Computer club members of e, Commodore and Sinclair user groups who attend Tuesday evening bring their own computers and screens. Expert competent tors are on hand to assist with computer exercises for one a half. Languages received in training are Logo and Basic, , graphics and simple programs quench the thirst for computer Instructors on the Commodore are Roger Airey, Peter and Linda Crowley, Student members are Garth Airey, Shaun , Sean Bosse, Buddy Wells, Gareth Lewis and Jonathan Broadway, on the Apple Ile are Harry Peters and Kevin Phillips, members are Shan Airey, Theresa Hobbs, Athol Gander, Michael and Paul Libauer. Instructors on the Sinclair are Michael , Peter Alexander, Russel Crowhurst and Michael Moncrieff. ffStudent members are Mark Alexander, Judith Bircher, Damon Crowhurst, Bruce Campbell, Shelley Sherman, Jonathan Logan, Stephen DfAlton and Jason Knight. Computer Club members of the Orientation Group attend Friday afternoon F, sessions, They may bring their own computers and screens, if convenientn ,The students receive training in a classroom environment for part of V the time, and on the Schoolis Apple equipment, The half hour preparation gpcourse is designed to administer computer literacy, theory, operation, gQhands-on training experience, graphics, and computer languages such Eggs beginners Logo and Basic, Immediate reinforcement through homework iifjs given to the scholars to extend the exercise at home under superm fiwision over the weekend.
