U. 11 RUGBY lThe under 11 rugby team played two matches during the first part of the season and was incorporated into the under 12 team for the remainder of the season because of a lack of players in this particular age-group . 4 i I Our opponents in our first match was a highly motivated side from Golden Grove. Although we tried hard, we were beaten 24 w 8. The team showed a marked improvement in the second game against a powerful Pinelands North side. The final score was 8 H 8, It is not easy to single out-any stars because each player tried his best and played as a team. We would, however, like to compliment Jodi Myers on the positive way he captained the team. We would also like to thank the squad of under 10 players who were prepared to play for us so that we could field a team, Mr Gonin who drove the school bus and the parents who give us sterling support from the touchlines.
