GONIN COACH SCRIPTUHE UNION 198A has been a year of many changes in Scripture Union. A most welcome staff member, Mr Cranna, has supportedzmmiencouraged b0t0 staff and pupilsc For the first time the leadership has been shared with pupils, Su Hoy and E0 Phillips. They played an important role in helping Mrs Raphael with the juniors, Some of the highlights for the juniors has been Emmie Cooper taking many of the meetings and the picnic outing to a Noordhoek farm, A . We have been blessed on Wednesdays with Mrs Trautmann leading our singing and worshippingo These meetings have been steadily supported throughout the year and I personally have found them to be a very enriching and fulfilling half hour in the middle of the busy school, week, Our Senior Scripture Union meetings have taken different forms during the year including Bible Studies, discussions with illustrative plays and outside speakers including Mr Poole with his marionettes and Mr Spruit, the lclowni mann Recently, we have been very fortunate in having a youth leader, Mr A. Botha to take some of our meetings, There have been ongoing early morning Bible readings in the needlework room led by dedicated parents, Mrs Bosch and Mrs Ricketts, we really do appreciate your help, without which these meetings would have discontinuedn We all realize how important discipline of an early morning fquiet time' is, yet find it difficult to establish a routine without the support and encouragement of others. We had a most enjoyable camp fbr the seniors at BettY?S Bay in April. Mr Read lead the Wspiritual sidel following the themenof lsharingv and Mrs Bosch lead the catering following the theme or healthy W and delicious meals E To them, and all the Parents and teaChers y who prayed back home as well as the children wh0 Came along and created 5 , .
