Obviously, P.T.A, Fundraising didnvt achieve the heights of yesteryears what with the rand at SOZ of its past value, but I must hasten to add their achievements were outstanding under these circumstances. Averil Myers and her loyal team are to be congratulated on this fine effort, 198A Also saw a change in the Committeeq Mr Mike Cluer, a Committee member, resigned due to business commitmentsu l thank Mike for his loyal support over the past few years and his enthusiam and down to earth approach will be missed. However, the school was very fortunate in acquiring Mr RusqrCrowhurst to fill this vacancyt Rusty is a lawyer by profession and can only be a great asset to Muizenberg Junior School. Whilst on the subject of the Committee I would like to take this opportunity of thanking them most sincerely for their dedication, enthusiasm, loyalty and support they have given to me as Chairman and all to the benefit of the school. As you are aware, like the P.T,A,, the Committee is totally voluntary. Finally, justice wouldnft be done if I didnlt express my gratitude to Mr Just and his staffo Those parents who have attended the various functions of the school? there can be no doubt in their minds as to the high quality of professionalism. To you, Mr Just and the staff, this Committee congratulates you on the fine achievements you have accomplished over the last couple of yearsn In closing, I wish to leave you with one thought for the future of Muizenberg Junior School, This school, like any other, cannot survive without the total support of all concernedo Lets not leave this important task to the minority.
