Friday evening highlights include a Gospel spop group which sang and shared with us, and Sweet Valleyls S.Ud who joined up with us for one evening. f The Juniors enjoyed a picnic in the first term and we plan to visit a farm this term. These outings encourage and nurture Christian fellowship amongst our children. We have had two welleattended and enjoyable senior SQU, camps at Betty's Bay. Exciting spiritual growth took place in the lives of many who attended Q teachers and pupils alike Z Mr Just came to our first camp Cmuch to everyonels delight at concert time Z7 and Mrs Bosch Cone of our dedicated parentsb kindly catered for our second camp. Two standard 4 pupils, Bonita Phillips and Samantha Hoy, represented our S,Un at a Leadership camp in November and we look forward to more active leadership amongst the pupils themselves next yeare We entered a team for the Intereschools Bible Quiz which included Linda Bosch, Samantha Clarke, Teresa Hobbs, Richard Storey and reserve Bonita Phillipst, We outpointed Sweet Valley, Kronendal and Wynberg Girlsv, but we unfortunately lost against Pinehurst in the finals. We did win the regional cup, however, and this was an exciting achievement S This term we plan to hold our annual Carols by Candlelight evening, an event in which the whole family can come togethera We look forward to changing the structure of our Scripture Union next year to accomodate the changing needs of our children, remembering I always that as Christians we are a growing body and as a body outgrows its clothing? so we have outgrown our programmeo '.We will be fortunate in having Stuart Cranna next year as the new ViceePrincipal of vMuizenberg Junior School.
