A , ro ramno research as to the use of computers and related educational p g fc in schools, our computer was soon fully operatiODalc To cater for the pupils who have spelling difficultieS, tW9HtYvflV9 individually designed programmes have been worked out for twentye five pupils by their class teachers, These programmes have been fed into the computer and the pupils work on a roster basis throughe out the week, Various Maths programmes have been acquired or specifically designed for our children helping those who need practice in certain areas as well as stimulating the bright child, The computer programmes cover a wide spectrum W varying from Music Theory to the revision of the content subjects, To strike the balance in the use of the computer for remedial teaching, as well as to stimulate the gifted child, new programmes are always being devised or acquired from various educational sources, ln this way maximum use is made of the computer at all times, The beneficial effect of Computer Assisted Learning can never be underestimated, but the teacher's role remains paramount in the education of our children.
