School Life Shapes The Molcl Of The Individual For The Future Ring! . . . the average student gets ready to pass classes. Ring! . . . the student passes classes. Ring! . . . the student prepares for his next class. To many people this schedule may seem boring and uneventful, but it is the little incidents of the day which make school life exciting, full of fun and very educational. A day at M.T.H.S. may include a discussion on the Iliad, the dissection of a star- fish, laboratory experiments, the building of an end table, hemming a dress or trying to obtain the correct figures on a balance sheet, but whatever it includes the student is learning something which will help him in the future. Necessary in mas- tering any of these skills are two main factors. First of which is an interesting and prepared explanation on the part of the teacher and secondly concentration and thought on behalf of the student. But on the lighter side, school life is filled with pep rallies and cheerleaders, the selling of candy after school by G.A.A., class plays, dances, baseball games, home- room parties and most of all lasting friendships!

A Rouslng Shout To Her Studying, socializing, cre- ating, and learning were the vital segments in the life of Muhlenberg students. All the students' actions reflected Muhlenberg. All of Muhlenberg's id e a l s and rules influenced and enrich- ed the students and faculty. Extracurricular and club activities prepared the pupil for different phases of life. The students participating in the World Literature class, which was on a voluntary basis and held during a club period, were introduced to works including Dante's Di- vine Comedy, and Aristoph- anes' The Frogs, and Homer's The Iliad. Whether it was participat- ing in a sport, eating in the cafeteria, or voting in The Student Council elections, everyone W i I l remember Muhlenberg. 7
