MINNIE DUNKLE MRS. HELEN RAPP MRS. GLADYS EVANS The cafeteria staff consisted of women, who ar- rived early in the morning and prepared and served the food We ate. Each member had specific duties. ATTENDANCE OFFICER MR. RAYMOND ENDY CAFETERIA STAFF ' MRS. FERN GOSS, head cook Another uunsung hero is our at- tendance officer, Mr. Endy. A meet- ing with him was often regarded with foreboding, but he was always willing'to give a lift,' to students who had difficulty in getting to school. NURSE This past year Mrs. Grace Hogue served as school nurse at Muhlen- berg. Mrs. Hogue gave first aid to students who were in need of it. Some of her duties were advising pupils in regard to health problems and excluding pupils from school who had symptoms of communicable diseases. The nurse also assisted the doctor in -the annual health exam- inations. MRS. GRACE L. HOGUE

THEIR DECISIONS WERE BULWARKS SECRETARIES 3 Superintendenfs Secretary, MRS. CLARA OXENRIEDER Office Secretaries, Mrs. Anita Reinert, Mrs. Virginia Stephen, Mrs. Ethel Shaner, and Mrs. Marie Sweigert. The office had a staff of competent secretaries. ln addition to their regular duties they were kept busy writing pass slips, for answering students' questions, helping us acquire information We needed for newspaper stories, assignments, or special projects. There was never a dull moment in the office as their typewriters clacked away and they responded to our every request. MUHLENBERG TOWNSHIP AUTHORITY The Muhlenberg Township au- thority is a group of men who advised the school on all financial matters throughout the year.
