THEY KEPT OUR SCHOOL Superintendent of Muhlenberg School District, Mr. John W. Khouri. W SUPERINTENDENT Mr. Khouri was often seen flying by, smile on his face, in a whirl of important papers. He seemed always busy, but was never too rushed to stop and chat with students or offer his sound advice in any situation. His responsibilities were heavy as he assisted the school board in the formidable task of keeping the educational machinery well-oiled. Competently he served us and guided our way. Mr. Khouri stands before the white pillars of M.T.H.S. Typical of a day's work, Mr. Khouri engages in an important conversation on the telephone. Rushing from one place to an- other, our superintendent is pho- tographed on the parking lot. 20
