Ed., Temple University Eating's a specialty of the Chef Club HOME EC CLASSES USE NEW AUTOMATIC WASHER Home economics classes did everything from burning cloth to washing toys . . . sewing projects ranged from aprons and potholders to tailored suits and coats in the advanced classes . . . students modeled their garments in the spring fashion show . . . study also included consumer education and child care . . . cooking classes progressed from basic dishes to fullfcourse meals . . . prepared luncheon and dinners for faculty, Lions Club, and school administrators . . . Chef Club organized to give male cooks an opportunity to enjoy their own concoctions . . . the installaf tion and use of new laundry equipment was an innovation in the department this year.
