i T 5 I DOLORES FOLK We, the class of 1951, wish to honor Dolores Folk as a member of our graduating class. We will always remember her for her pleasing personality and merry disposition. Dolores, who was stricken with poliomyelitis in August of 1948, has been unable to attend classes at school. After spending approximately a year at a rehabilitation school in Virginia, she has been tutored by Mrs. Eberly in order to obtain her high school diploma. In spite of her being confined to a Wheelfchair, Dolores has found it possible to witness many of the school's activities. Her nick name is Bang, Bang, and her pet expression, Oh! Crumb. Dolores's main interests lie in interior decorating and the reading and writing of poetry. She also has an interest at Reading High. Handling a Merchandise Club and selling a variety of cards passes her time. Dolores is an academic student with a commercial trend. She hopes to attend Penn State to major in psychiatry. V l3l l A J
