Foreword Muhlenberg this year marks its twentyffifth year of existence. In this time countless numbers of students have passed through its portals. The membership of the faculty has gradually increased in size and many onceffamiliar faces have been replaced by those of newcomers. However, there is always a bit of the old retained with the new, and we believe that even the members of the original student body will find within these pages echoes of their own school careers and fulfillment of cherished dreams. The original -building was enlarged by the addition of a wing in 1930, and now construction has been started on another to provide further shop facilities and the longfawaited cafeteria. In years when no year books commemorate the happenings, something is lost. Our purpose then, is to prevent such a lapse for 1950, the silver anniversary of the school. May this book, which is now little more than paper filled with pictures, summaries, and the like, increase in value a hundredffold as time slips through the hourfglasses of our lives. As often as you open the covers of this book to leaf at random o'er its contents, may each page revive pleasant thoughts and cherished memories of the student body, faculty, administration, the Class of '50 .... and Muhlenberg.
