White's corps of faithful secretaries. . .Miss Horton's appetizing soap papers . . .the map in Room 203 that never stays down. . .Mrs. Roth's Friday themes. . .Miss Rahnls aptitude and personality tests. . .Mr. Schmehl's guidance and advice. , .Mr. Feltenberger and his vigilance at the door every morning at 8:00. . .Mrs. Shaner who issued pass slips to those people Who never get here on time. . .and remember October 15 when We had one Whole day of vacation so the teachers could attend the P.S.E.A. Convention?. . .the teachers appeared in a new light in The Great Big Doorstep . . .the plans for the new wing which is so eagerly anticipated. . . hats off to all who helped us plan and build for our futures and to those who keep our school running smoothly. . . Dec!z'crzz'z'0n MR. CLINTON E. COLE january 29, 1883 --january 29, 1949 We, the Class of 1949, respectfully dedif cate this, our yearbook, to Mr. Clinton E. Cole who passed away january 29, 1949. With his passing, a life of service to edu' cation was ended. Mr. Cole spent many years as the head of our schools and faith' fully served the cause of education in our community. He was considered one of the leading educators in this section of the state. Those who worked with Mr. Cole found him a sincere friend, a sound counselor, and a man whose leadership was challengf ing and honorable. His influence will long he felt in the lives of those who came in contact with him.
