Harry Heckman Industrial. Muhltohi 12. Buddy is one of the more taciturn members of the senior class. Harry can usually be seen browsing around the Ma- deira Airport. He is studying to become a private pilot. After he has received his diploma, he intends to enter commercial aviation. May Buddy burst the clouds of success as he flys through the air with the great- est of ease. Donald Rothenberger Academic. Basketball Il, 12: Base- ball 11. 12: Soccer 12: Hall Patrol IU. 11, 12: Muhltohi 12. Perry hails from Hyde Park and is one of the more athlet- ically-inclined members of the class. He likes baseball and can be found participating in it whenever time allows. He spends his spare time eating ice cream and looking at pretty girls. After graduation, Perry plans to join the U. S. Navy. Miller Ulle Academic. Chorus IU, ll, 12. Mi, Mi, Mi. Oh Susie, listen to that darling voice coming from the music room. Oh yes, that's Frankie Ulle sing- ing. Well, folks, these are just a few of the remarks made by Miller's admirers. Miller has sung in many pro- grams, here at Muhlenberg and outside of school. After graduation, he hopes to attend a college of music and become a singer. Richard Weinhold Iohn Peipher Henry Cole Industrial. Muhltohi 12. This short, jolly fellow called Dick can be seen with his om- nibus, namely a Model A Ford, crowded with students, on the way to school. During his spare time, Dick works in a photography shop. Since photography is his hob- by, he has acquired his own darkroom, equipment and cameras. Like most of the other sen- iors, Richard expects to serve in the United States Armed Forces. Academic. Baseball 12: Hi-Y 12: Muhltohi 12. lohnny, one of the Well- liked boys of the class, can usually be found with the fair- er sex and spends a lot of time with Pearl He rates model airplane building and mechanical draw- ing tops. You can also find Iohn jerking sodas at Andrew's. After graduation he would like to join Uncle Sam's Navy. Academic. Band 10, ll, 12: Orches- tra 12: Chorus 10, ll, 12. Hen is one of our more musically-inclined students, playing the trombone and piano. Plow enjoys wearing a lot of flashy clothes, eating ham- burgers and pineapple sun- daes, and driving his Dad's car. is f r aint aff l W Stanley Boczar Earl Auchenbach Darvin Ketner Academic. Muhltohi 12. Stosh is one of the newer members of the senior class, since he spent only his last two years at Muhlenberg. Stan, when not playing his accordion in a three-piece or- chestra, spends his week ends working at a local restaurant. His weaknesses are blondes, brunettes and redheads. After graduation, Uncle Sam will call Stanley into service. Industrial. Basketball ll: Track ll: Baseball 10. ll. Auchy was asked by Un- cle Sam to give up his studies and serve his country, so he enlisted in the Navy in Iuly, 1944. Earl was awarded a plaque for being Muhlenberg's most valuable athlete for l943-l944. May each wave Auchy crosses bring him closer to vic- tory and home. Academic. Ducky, one of the more talkative members of the class, can often be seen driving around Temple in a blue Chevy. His favorite hobbies are hunt- ing and fishing, and almost anything that centers around the outdoor life. At present, Darvin is em- ployed by the Fleetwood Ho- siery Company. 'l'wisty would like to join some branch of Uncle Sam's armed services. William Moll Academic. Muhltohi 12: Soccer 12: Track ll. 12: Basketball 11. 12. This handsome fellow hails from Hyde Park. Charger was the goalie on the soccer team, guard on the basketball team, and jave- lin thrower on the track team. Bill plans to enter the Ma- rines after he graduates. May you charge your way to success. Homer Carley Industrial. Baseball 10. 11. 12: Soccer 11, 12: Basketball 10, 11, 12: Track 11, 12. lf you ever have any diffi- culty in finding Sweetnut, look for a certain girl named Mary Iane, Homer plans to take up a physical education training course at Penn Stateg that is, if he evades the greeting of Uncle Sam, May the tides of Time be kind to him. Arthur Weller Industrial. Stage Crew 10, 11, 12. Whiz! Swish! There goes Arty tearing the roads apart with his Chevy. Arty can be seen in his spare time down on the stage rigging curtains up, etc. He also likes to play football with the fellows. After graduation, Arty plans to don a navy blue uniform. Paul is one of the quiet boys of the class and can be found either playing tennis with his side-kick Bob, or with his girl friend f'Io. Paul has also stuck faithfully to the track team, eating the cinders off Kiehl's shoes. Paul has hopes of entering college after school. Robert Brumbach Academic. Swimming ll, 12: Muhltohi 12. This jolly, dark-eyed lad from South Temple adds a lot to the senior class through his bright ideas and jokes. Bob gained his letter by his earnest Work as one of the Muhl's favorite Water ducks. Lank and slender, he cuts a fine figure and is just the right size for a ladies' man. Bob dreams of seeing the World through a porthole. Dominic Fioravanti Industrial. Muhltohi 12. Dixie is a short, blue-eyed blond. His favorite pastime is play- ing a guitar with local orches- tras. Besides this, this lad tries to imitate Donald Duck be- tween classes and sometimes in classes. ln the future, he plans to at- tend the Wyomissing Polytech- nic Institute for further study in industrial arts. Donald Linderman Albert Gaspari George Telliho Academic. Band 12: Orchestra 12: Chorus 11, 12. This handsome, brown-haired lad has never missed a day of school in his high school ca- reer. Girls don't bother him be- cause he spends most of his time playing the saxophone and piano. He is also inter- ested in photography. We Wish Donald the best of luck in becoming a draftsman, but Uncle Sam may decide his future for him. fffuklfok Academic. Soccer 11, 12: Baseball 11, 12. This husky six-footer is the baby of the senior class. He can often be seen driving a blue Ford on the Kutztown Road. Gus takes an active part in outdoor sports and rel- ishes gym as the most enjoy- able session of school. Al's main interest is a cer- tain lass at Temple University where he plans to further his studies as a pharmacist. 1' '45 T Academic George is one of the more bashful members and, inci- dentally, the only red-haired boy in the senior class. Tal is rarely seen With the opposite sex except in a strict- ly business matter. ln the future, Tal wishes to enlist in the Merchant Ma- rine.
