Any blue-clad boy can find Dot in favor of him. Dottie is always Writing letters and is constantly in dire need of stationery. She just loves pas- try and candy. Dorothy has a vague inten- tion of becoming an interior decorator unless some sailor changes her mind. Commercial. Girl Reserves 12: Muhltohi 12. I-ley! Do you have any passes for the movie? That's right, you're right! Gloria is being invaded by half the population of Muhlenberg. Gensie is fortunate in receiv- ing a supply of passes for the local theater. This brown-haired miss of 12-Z rat-es bookkeeping tops and is hoping to become a bookkeeper in the future. Violet Brenner Commercial. Girl Reserves 12: Chorus 11, 12: Muhltohi 12. Pert, brown-eyed blonde, best describes this active mem- ber ofthe senior class. Dollie can usually be seen trampling through the halls with Deed- sy and Marbarger. Dollie rates basketball and bookkeeping tops After graduation, Dollie longs to become a Good ste- nographer. May she bloom onto her way to fortune. Richard Batz Commercial. Richard likes flashy clothes, is popular with all his class- mates, and also with a girl of a local town. His favorite recreation is go- ing to movies and basketball games. He spends most of his time ushering at a local theatre. ln the future he wishes to run his own luncheonette. Richard is another of the more timid members of the l2-l home room. ln spite of his bashfulness, he has not one secret passion, but two. Kid- ding and her sense ot hu- mor make her very well liked. Shunky was an active senior, having served as presi- dent of the Girl Reserves, man- ager and referee in G. A. A. She can Always be seen Together with two other girls ot the senior class. Ieanne Adams Commercial. Muhltohi 12: Girl Reserves 12. Ieanne with the Light Brown Hair is one ot the fun-making members of the class. Clang, clang, clang, went the typewriter, Bang, bang, bang, went the Navy guns. These two have very much in common with leanne. Even though the Navy occu- pies most ot her time, she wishes to become a typist. Dolores Cairns Commercial. Chorus 12: Girl Reserves ll, 12: Muhltohi 12. Here is a pretty brown- haired blue-eyed girl from 12-l who was the secretary of the junior and senior classes. Dolly loves dancing and can often be seen at the Y on Saturday nights. She also enjoys listening to boogie- woogie records. Dolly hopes to become a private secretary after gradu- ation. Mary lane Marbarger Commercial. Girl Reserves 12: Muhltohi 12. Brown hair, brown eyes and a cute smile identities Mary lane to everyone. Mary lane enjoys sports, especially bas- lcetball. Cutie keeps a scrapbook of all Muhlenberg sports write- ups which contain some of Sweetnut's career in school sports. Mary lane hopes to attend Reading Business Institute and become a medical secretary. Iulia Wolle Academic. Chorus 10, 11, 12: Girl Reserves 12: Muhltohi 12. This attractive, green-eyed lass is quiet, but full of fun and always ready with a witty answer. B-B has been chair- man ot the Girl Reserves Serv- ice Committee for two years, and by now she is an expert at selecting gifts for any oc- casion. In the tuture, Iulia plans to attend some college. Gloria Bittle Commercial. Girl Reserves 12: Cheerleading 10. ll. 12: Track ll. 12: G. A. A. ll. 12: Bowling Club 12: Swimming 10, ll: Badminton 12. This tall lass with brown hair and brown eyes is one ot the more active members of the senior class. Gloria, a cheerleader, can be seen and heard at all games. Richard Thomas Industrial. Basketball 10, ll, 12, Soc- cer 12: Track 10, ll, 12: Mulzltolxi. 12. Look up in the sky . . . it's a bird, it's a plane . . . no, it's Dick Thomas, and he's scored another basket. Dick is one of the most athletically-inclined members of the senior class. Dick hopes to be an engi- neer some day. The class of '45 wishes him a Mary life and one as long as he is. E. Winfield Blatt Industrial. Basketball 12: Muhltohi 12. Winfield, one of the jolly members of the class, is 5' 5 and weighs an even 200 pounds. Eating is NOT his specialty. Bo Bo can be seen driving a certain Dodge or Chrysler in his spare time. Winfield was manager of the varsity basketball team. He intends to enter the service and hopes to be an electrical engineer after the war. Homer Kantner Academic. Hi-Y 12: Muhltohi 12. Homer is one of the quieter members of the senior class. He can often be seen in the St. Lawrence Luncheonette pushing the dirty dishes around in his cart. He also can be seen walking the halls with two girls on his arms. Homer is undecided what he will do after graduation. What- ever field he may choose, the class of '45 wishes him luck. Harold D. Williams Donald Moll Paul Dahms Industrial. Stage Crew 10. 115 Muhltohi 12. Tall, dark and mechanically- minded describes Poley, as Harold is often called by his friends. When you hear a putt, bang and a sWish you better watch out because it is Poley coming down the street about 15 miles an hour in his little jalopy which he built in his spare time. After graduation he would like to be a mechanic. Academic. Hi-Y 12: Soccer 12: Baseball 12: Muhltohi IZ. Mollie, one of the most lively members of the class, may be seen any morning be- fore school driving his Model A on the highways of Muhlen- berg Township. Charger rates golf as his favorite sport. The Mayor of Mo1ltown ex- pects to attend Wyomissing Polytechnic Institute after graduation. Academic. Muhltohi 12. Paul is one of the more quiet members of the senior class. In his leisure time he can usually be seen with a blonde named Gloria. His black hair and blue eyes will describe him to his class- mates. He rates mechanical drawing and chemistry tops.
