Whenever the word Tillie is mentioned, a picture of some uproar comes to our mind, for wherever Tillie is, there is bound to be loads of fun. This energetic miss helped to cheer the basketball team to victory. She has also won many honors in swimming. We will always remember Till as being a swell dancer and a good sport. Catharine Deeds Commercial. Girl Reserves 12: Band IU, 11, 12: Orchestra ll. 12: Muhltohi 12. ls this not a picture to de- mand attention? This blond- haired, hazel-eyed miss is a member of the High School Band. Deedsy is an ardent base- ball fan and her secret pas- sion is to be a sports writer or a history teacher. Keep your eyes on Deedsy, for when she starts on the Sea of Life there will be some splash. Annette Hartz ell Academic. National Honor Society ll. 12: Observer 12: Chorus IU, 11. 12: Muhltohi 12: Girl Reserves 12: Debating ll, 12. Now here is a girl who likes to know the whys and where- fores of things, for Skeeter is an enthusiastic member of the debating team. Annette's ambition is to be a legal secretary and in prep- aration is going to attend a business school. Thelma Lengle Academic. Girl Reserves: Observer Staff 11, 12: Muhltohi 12. This cheerful little ear full is never around when you want her. She is usually in the Observer room working on the school paper. Iournalism takes up most of her time. After attending college, Thel- ma's plans are rather indefi- nite, but with her journalistic abilities we are sure she will go write to the top. Iean Boltz Commercial. Muhltohi 12. When you hear the expres- sion Oh, sugar you can be sure to find lean near by. Charlie is one of the more quiet members of the class. lean rates skating and bowl- ing as her favorite sports. Dorothy's interests lie in sports, mainly basketball and baseball. On the other hand, Dotty's pet peeve is people who do not co-operate. Her favorite spot in town is the famous Chinese restaurant, where she can eat chicken chow mein. Irene is usually very happy with lots to talk about. She was the only member of the Commercial section who studied German. One of Becky's wishes after graduation is to own her own little novelty shop. Mary Iane Kearney Commercial. Girl Reserves 12: Muhltohi 12. Mary jane is one of the wit- tier girls in the senior class. Sis croons over the music of Harry james, and also en- joys the singing of Bing Crosby. In the future, I. hopes to become a private secretary to some high executive. Here's wishing her success. Shirley Heist Home Economics. Girl Reserves 12: Swimming 12: Muhllohi 12. Shirley, one of the shorter constituents, hails from South Temple. Shirt spends most of her time writing letters to a certain young sailor. Because she is fond of dancing, Shirley is often found at the Y on Sat- urday nights. Cuz hasn't any plans for the future. May she sail to success. Kathryn Carl Betty Weaver Ioan Clarke Commercial. Girl Reserves 12: Muhltohi 12. Tall, slim and jovial best de- scribe this light-haired senior lass. Kitty can often be seen in the halls having quarrels with members of the opposite sex, but she likes the fellows, es- pecially a certain Marine. Typing is her favorite sub- ject and in the future she would like to be either a typ- ist or hairdresser. Academic. Observer ll, 12: Chorus 10: Girl Reserves 12: Muhlfohi 12. What's that mountain of food? That's just Bettina at her favorite pastime and avo- cation, namely making and eating DagWood sandwiches. This more talkative member of the class expects to attend McCanns' School of Business and has her eye on being a medical secretary. Commercial. Then, with big grins on their faces, they start talking about the senti- mental music they heard. After graduation, lean would like to become somebody's stenog. Martha Klemmer Commercial. Girl Reserves 12: Muhltohi 12. This brown-haired, green- eyed girl is known to most of us as Dolly. Dancing or movies occupy most of her spare time and she's pretty keen on spaghetti and Italian sandwiches. She just can't resist buying records and she'll tell you that boogie-Woogie is solid, Lots of luck, Dolly. Iune Ludwig Home Economics. Girl Reserves 12. On-e of the more quiet girls in this small, blue-eyed lass who hails from Laureldale. Iune rates mathematics as her favorite subject and can often be seen helping others in her home room. Her great- est weakness is sailors. As to the future, lune has made no definite plans, but the class of '45 wishes her success. Geraldine Deisher Commercial. G. A. A. 10, ll. 12: Girl Reserves 12: Observer Stuff 11. 12: Chorus ll. 12. Gerry, one of the busiest members of the senior class, was secretary of Girl Reserves. She rates Italian sandwiches and French fries as her favor- ite foods and lists reading po- etry as her favorite pastime. She is frequently seen at the movies and simply drools over lohn Hodiak. Iane Kohler Commercial. Girl Reserves 12. Muhltohi 12. Zoom!-No, that wasn't an airplane-just jane performing her secretarial duties. Squirt can be found almost anytime in her father's litter- bug joint, or also with a friend helping to cheer the basketball team on to victory. After graduation, lane hopes to become a private secretary. Betty Merkel Home Economics. Girl Reserves 12: Muhltohi 12. Wherever there is music you Will find Betty. All her spare time is spent at dances Cwith johnny, of coursel. Mert is the Muhlenberg Representative for Pomeroy's Be-Teen Fashion Board.
