Spooks places bicycle riding, traveling, skating and dancing on her list of favorite hobbies. Most of her spare- time is spent in reading a good book. After leaving Muhlenberg Fern hopes to obtain some kind of a secretarial position. The class of '40 extends its best wishes. This small, studious miss hails from Molltown and is one of the more athletically inclined girls of the class, having played forward on the girls' basketball team and taken an active part in ten- nis. Dorothy is undecided as to her future plans but the class hopes her choice is a pro- gressive one. Betty Hollinger AC3d8YT'IlCl ch0I'US 12: Girl Reserves 125 Handwork Club 12. Betty is one of the studious members of the class al- though she has her lighter moments. She classes Ger- man her favorite subject. As a favorite pastime Bet- ty chooses attending motion pictures. Traveling and cook- ing are close seconds. Betty is undecided about the future, but may it bring her happiness. Dorothy Rubright Academic: Chorus 125 Girl Reserves 125 Handwork Clubr 12. Dot is one of the quiet members of the class and one of the few girls who en- joy sewing. She makes many of her own clothes. Other favorites of this blue-eyed miss are playing the piano and reading. Dorothy has not made any decisions about the future. Whatever you do, the class wishes you success for years to come. Jean Miller Academic: Cheerleading 125 Chorus 123 Observer 125 Little Theatre Club 125 Girl Reserves 12. Short, brunette and brown eyes describe this 12A miss who was seen leading cheers at basketball games during the past year. t'Kitten likes dramatics and participated in the sen- ior class play. Jane is an enthusiastic fol- lower of the flying profes- sion. Stunt flying is the out- standing part of aviation in Jane's estimation. Art and English rank as Thie1e's favorite subjects at school while at home she prefers to make new and fancy foods in the kitchen. After graduation Jane in- tends to become a dental hy- gienist. Good luck Jane! Florence Viering Academic: Handwork Club 12. Sis enjoys serving the public for she is employed as a waitress in a restaurant at Pricetown. When she isn't roller skating on the side- walks of Temple she spends her leisure time knitting or reading a good book. Flor- ence rates typing as her fav- orite subject. Floss is not certain of her plans after graduation, but the class sincerely hopes she will have little trouble mak- ing up her mind.
