Whitney, the distributive education course is titled Retail Sales. Chapters elect officers, and Mr. Rogers. a distributive education instructor, serves as Visalia ROP DECA Chapter adviser. Visalia ROP DECA isthe local DECA chapter for Redwood and Mt, Whitney High Schools DECA chapter activities are planned and organized as part ofthe total instructional program. Many of these activities are centered at school and are designed to promote professional attitudes, marketing and leadership skills, and personal and social growth to give students the opportunity to participate as both leaders and followers. DECA members participate in sales projects in order to raise money to attend and compete in local, state, and national conferences, The advisor is Steve Rodgers.
