he opportunity to wear the famous school colors, maroon and white occurred many times throughout the year. Wearing the school colors not only showed your dedication to the school, but how proud you were to be a Pioneer. How to show your true colors? To support your class there were class- shirts in school colors. Maroon and White days also provided an opportunity to pull out your school colors. fgb. 9 I ik 1 ...GET ROWDY ,Y 315 lx razy, insane! The atmosphere around the Mount this year was almost that. With the school year packed with non- stop action the students spirit peaked. Pep lls- sembly rowdiness was sparked by Rory Hays' loud, green sneakers. New cheers and excited cheerleaders made assemblies come to life. The traditional Cowhide and Homecoming weeks turned even the most humble freshies into a rowdy. How to get rowdy? To get crazy, you need not only a loud voice, but loads and loads of enthusi- asm. To win class yell competitions you have to jump and shout, not sit and look in awe. To get your spirits high during the week, noon-time 14 ' Introduction x e activities can give you a lilt. ln order to spread your enthusiasm you must first be a leader and most ol all unafraid ol embarrassment. t Making school a fun place to be can be done, you just have to know how to get ROWDY! 1.
