HERE WE COME That was the slogan of the Senlors when they boarded the train Wed Aprrl Fust They were never so happy to see a place as they were to see Washington the followmg morning because they had been anuclpatmg this Joy for weeks When they arrrved ln Washmgton busses met them at the station and they went to Fort McHenry and from there to Annapol1s to see the Naval Academy Then busses took them to the C3plI0l Bulldrng where they saw the Senate in sesslon and were prlvxleged to speak to Senator Taft and Representatlve Gorden Shearer Then they went to the hotel and thelr rooms to meet 1D a short t1me for dlnner Frxday and Saturday they made a tour of the c1ty whlch mcluded the Lmcoln and Jefferson Memonals the Wh1te House and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldler They even clxmbed the 856 steps to see the whole CIIY from the Washmgton Monument They boarded the tram Saturday n1ght and arrlved home Easter Sunday mornlng from an enjoyable tr1p 111 Washmgton A liali SILL Alu- 5' K 'Sf ,ga N-1. .lim
