SENIOR CLASS In September of 1941, 129 Freshmen entered upon a four-year voyage, not a little frightened and feeling that the journey was indeed long. As time passed, we became acquainted with high school procedure, and it was no time before We were known as Sophomores. What a thrill to call other kids Freshies! .Most of us survived World History and enough other subjects to make our way into the Junior Class. Juniors! With this title came the fun of organizing our class to plan activities, chiefly the Prom for those Seniors. All too soon we became thc Senior Class, with new responsibilities and duties. After electing officers, the members eagerly awaited the arrival of our class rings. They came! Of course we were told that they did not insure our graduation, but they gave us an air of importance, nevertheless. Measurements for caps and gowns! Again that warning that even this did not mean that we were assured of wearing them. But we could hope. And now consideration of commencement announcements and per- sonal cards makes us realize that the end of our journey is quite near. As we are about to leave M. H. H. S., we bequeathe some of our cherished possessions to members of the lower classes, and accept from them the prophecies they make regarding our future. Bon voyage!
