BERNADINE LEWIS During the first three years of her high school life Bernadine attended school at Venice and Harrison. Since she has been here only a short time and is quiet, we know little as to her plans for the future. Wfhatever they may be, we wish her success. Bill held down the shortstop position last year, but this season he appeared on the mound for M. H. H. S. He is very well-liked by all and is another member of THIQ FOUR HORSFMFN. MARIE HELFERICH Glee Chorus, 4. Marie came into the class only this year, entering from Hamilton High. In spite of her short time here, she has many friends among teachers and students. We predict that her genial disposition will always be a real asset. VERNON HENN Soccer, Z, 3, 4. Basketball, 3, Manager, 4. Glee Chorus, 3, 4. Class Treasurer, 4. Tatler Staff, 2, 5. Vernon, better known as XVally , has been largely responsible for the neat appearance of the basketball team during the past year. RUTH HOFFNER Class Secretary, l, 2. Tatler, 5, 4. Girl Reserves, 3, 4. Glee Chorus, 4. Ruth has been a good student dur- ing her years in high school. And, when it came to getting ads for the Year Book, she was a great help. She is a true friend to those who are lucky enough to be her friends. HELEN I-IOPF Girl Reserves, 5, 4. Glee Chorus, 4. Helen shows her wisdom by keeping quiet and seeing that her work is done. Class Treasurer, l. Alcie was out of school for a year or two between the time she enrolled and now, but could not resist coming back to be graduated. We are very glad to have had her with us this past year. IDABELLE MOSIER Basketball, 1, 2, 3, 4. Track, 2, 4. Class President, 2. Girl Reserves, 3, 4. Glee Chorus, 3, 4. ldabelle is a player whom our op- ponents have had to watch carefully. We rather imagine some of them will feel easier after she has graduated. We, how- ever, shall miss her greatly. JANET MYERS janet has proved that she respects the ideals of M.H.H.S. and has done much to carry them out. She has shown pride in the school which in turn is proud of her. MARY OELKER Glee Chorus, 4. Mary is another member who entered the class only during the past year. We should like to have had her with us long- er, for she has shown a friendly spirit and an interest in her classes which have won for her many companions and much respect. KATHERYN ORTMANN Track, 1.
