As high school graduates you are faced with responsi- bilities never even dreamed of by those who have preceded you' Those responsibilities you should willingly and cheerfully accept, wheth- er they consist of serving our nation in its armed forces acting in the guise of skilled workers in industry, or keeping the founda- tions of SOC16ty firm by making homes for its future citizens We are living-in a wonderful country and it IS worthy of our best in health, education and character. Only an active, pa- triotic citizenship can pay the debt of grati- tude to our forefathers for this land of ours. Therefore be loyal to the principles of American democracy, where everyone may worship God without restraint and pursue happiness without 1nte1-ference.
