71 c ministration Near the end of Shakespeare ' s immortal play JULIUS CAESAR, Mark Antony, paying tribute to the slain patriot Brutus, exclaimed, This was a man! It is with a deep sense of pride and humility that the 1965 AIRMONT staff attempts to express its gratitude to a man whose life has enriched the lives of thousands of people in this city and this community. ToHowardM. Finch, for thirty-two years principal of Mount Airy High School, the staff voices a very inadequate, Thank you. His energetic spirit, his spon¬ taneous smile, his unswerving fairness, and his firm hand have won the hearts of generations of Mount Airy students. His interest was genuine; his advice, sincere. By setting high standards for himself, he could command exemplary performance from the student.
