September 19 six members went to the Officers Training School at Mt. Auburn. Five officers and Mr. Knight attended the National Com ention at Kansas City during which Tommy Pyatt played in the National Band. Tommy also play ed in the American Royal Parade. The annual Rotary Club Corn Show was held November 7. High yield of 166. 6 bushels was won by Bob Bohlen with a five acre plot. He also won first at the Section 19 Show and t-hird in the Junior Contest. The chapter was proud of the exceptional cooperation shown when the boys put up the Christmas lights downtown. 51
