SOPHOMURES Hepresentatlves for our councllors were Iollnne LaBounty and George Wooters but after a few weeks IoAnne LaBounty reslgned and Nlna Marmor was chosen to succeed her Nma Marmor and George Wooters were chosen to wr1te our hlstory of the year Durtng the f1rst semester of our Journey we lost ten of our braves We had two peace p1pe partles durmg the year and after the long and strenuous year we took tlme off at the end to have a pow wow at Decatur Nelson Park and then started a three months penod of rest After our rest we cont1nued our fourney 1n the tepee of learn 1ng We were to see that we had lost a few of our braves who had elther fallen back dropped out or Jomed other companrons but we were comforted to see we had gatned three others Maur Soon after our return we halted long enough to elect as our leaders for the year the followrng Flrst Brg Chlef George Wooters Second Blg Chlef Ed Cox Medrclne Man Rosahe Davls Gu1de Mlss Schlrer Carolyn Nolrng and Dale Curry were chosen as councllors and Nlna Marmor was elected as hrstorran Dunng the year there were four great pow wows held by the class One was atven for the Freshmen and another was a return party grven by the Freshmen We declded to take another three months rest before we started rn the th1rd year of our yourney 1n search of those coveted sheepskrns 23 ine Iones, lack Burt, and Robert Clark.
